Introducing.....

Dallin Ward Collett

9 lbs. 7 oz.
21 inches long

We are so excited to have this little boy here safe and sound.

He gave us quite the scare. He was born relatively fast. Because of this, his lungs were not able to get everything cleaned out. He ended up being born with pneumonia.

Here is most of our family the day Dallin was born. Because of the pneumonia, he was hooked up to monitors and and IV's and was not allowed out of the nursery. JT and I were allowed to go in with him. The boys were not able to go. Braiden would come to the hospital the first few days and just cry because he wanted to hold his little brother.

Katie and boys and my Mom brought me flowers. They were so nice to have during our 11 day stay at the hospital. It was so long and I wanted to be home so badly, but I was so grateful I could stay with my baby. I can't imagine leaving him there without JT or myself being there with him.

This became a daily occurrence. (Not the meal) The boys would come and visit me pretty much every day. JT did such a great job taking care of everything. He was such a trooper. Luckily, we had so much help from family and friends. It made the week and a half bearable. This particular night, Iron Man was on TV. Since we don't have cable, all three of these boys were excited to watch the new episode:)

Dallin finally got unhooked from everything and got to come in my room just hours before we left the hospital.

The three brothers together for the first time. It was such a sweet moment for me as a mother.

Our family of five! Crazy:)

Dallin so glad to finally be home!

What a sweet little boy. Things definitely did not go as planned, but he is now a healthy and happy little boy. We are so excited for him to be here. We are so grateful for all of our blessings.

Silly Gavin

A few Sundays ago, I ran outside to get the newspaper. I came back in and went in the other room. I came back to find this. I don't know why he wanted leg warmers on, but he did. What a silly and creative little boy. He is growing up so fast:)

Summer Cousins

This summer we were able to go to Cortlynn's dance recital and Maddox's tee ball game. We also got to Madison's tee ball game but I didn't have my camera with me. We love going and watching our cousins perform. They all did such a great job:) Braiden is so excited for his turn in the fall. He will be playing soccer. We are excited to be able to cheer him on:)

Water Water Everywhere:)

Even though this summer has given us plenty of rain storms, we have still found time to play in the water. We have ran through the sprinklers, gone to the splash pad, hung out at the pool, and even used the slip-n-slide. It has been so much fun. The boys have loved every minute of it. (except when Braiden can't touch in the pool, he gets a little excited!) We are even doing swimming lessons. Those pics are still to come. Braiden has come a long way this year. He loves going under the water. Today he even opened his eyes while he was under. He got so excited for this accomplishment. We are so excited that the kids aren't screaming every time we get in the pool.

{Our St. George Trip}

We had so much fun spending a weekend down in St. George with my family. Brooks, Analisha and Maddox were not able to come, but everyone else was there. It was just nice and relaxing. Mom and Dad have a house down their and so we helped move everything in. The kids loved being able to stay together. They loved playing with everyone all of the time.

This is the view from the clubhouse. Isn't it beautiful. There were two swans who would swim around the water. It was fun just to sit and enjoy!

Braiden and Cortlynn playing with Grandma's IPad. They love computers:) I am trying to play around with some different actions and textures in Photo shop, so that is why a few of these pics look different. I was just playing.

Gavin loved driving this walker throughout the entryway. You could find him here most of the time.

We visited the park and played baseball, soccer, bubbles and played on the playground. The kids had so much fun!

A smile that sums up the trip. We also visited Pirate Island Pizza. It was so much fun the kids keep asking when we can go back. Thanks to Mom and Dad for letting us come and play!

Another Project

I am trying hard to get all of these little projects finished before Baby #3 makes his arrival. I finally finished the car seat canopy. We made one for my sister when she had her first baby and I have wanted one ever since. Since baby is coming I decided to get this done. I really love how it turned out. The minkie is so so soft. One more project down, so many more to go:)

Braiden's Project

The last month of Preschool Braiden's class was learning about Construction. They each got to build their own house with frosting and graham crackers. Braiden was pretty excited to bring home his masterpiece. I think he did an excellent job!
