Soccer Anyone?

Paying attention to the ball

SCORE!

Gavin enjoying the outdoors and his feet!

My little soccer star

Braiden has a new love. That is soccer. He loves to kick the ball around and he actually is pretty good. I am amazed at how coordinated this kid is. It is great, especially because I am not. I love to watch him run around and play. He has so much fun when he is playing with a ball. He wanted me to play with him. I would run up to kick the ball and then before I could get it, he would kick it or dive and pick it up with his hands. He was rolling on the ground with giggles. We took a lunch to the park and let him run, run, run. He did have a great nap later. We had a great lunch. I love being able to spend time with my boys.

Pirate Maddox!

The other day Maddox had a Pirate Birthday Party! Analisha made it so much fun! For the kids, she had a few games and they got to choose a prize out of the treasure chest. They all got pirate hats to wear and the cake was even a pirate ship! It was adorable and Braiden had so much fun. I was helping a little and JT was in charge of the camera some of the time. Needless to say, we didn't get very many pictures. My mom got some better ones of Maddox. He was so excited, he didn't want to sit still to let me take his picture. Happy Birthday Maddox! We had so much fun at your party:) AARGH! I forgot that Braiden said the funniest thing. We gave Maddox a basketball, soccer ball, and football. As soon as Maddox opened his present, Braiden told Maddox that he could share with him. It was so funny but so sweet. At least Braiden is excited about sharing:)

Four months old

I can't believe how fast time flies. Gavin is already four months old. He went to the doctor yesterday and he is doing great! He weighed 17 lbs 2oz and was 26 inches long. What a big boy! He has turned into such a sweet and smiley baby. I love him so much!

Happy Birthday Dad!

This past weekend my Dad celebrated his birthday! We were all able to go out to dinner the day before and then yesterday we got together and had cake and ice cream. It was so fun to spend time with my family. We just wanted to say Happy Birthday Dad and Grandpa! We love him so much. He is a wonderful guy who would do anything for us. We love spending time with him. I hope he had a wonderful day and knows how much he means to us. Happy Birthday Dad, We love you!

This is Braiden giving Dad his birthday present. I was going to get a picture with both of the boys and Dad, but we will have to try another day.

Eating Cereal:)

Can you believe Gavin is old enough to start eating cereal? I can't believe how time flies. He does not like it at all. It is going to be a challenge getting him to start eating it. He has tried it three times and has learned to clamp his mouth shut. What a boy! We will just have to keep trying. Here are some pictures of his first time eating the cereal. He was happy when we were done and Braiden was there with him:)

Happy Mothers Day!

I know Mother's Day was a week ago, but I haven't had time to post since then. It was a wonderful Mother's Day. I am so lucky to have the best boys and husband. They are so thoughtful and sweet. I am also so lucky to have a wonderful mom and mother-in-law. I couldn't ask for any two more wonderful people. I also have some fabulous grandma's. I am a lucky girl who has the greatest examples surrounding her. I have wonderful sisters and friends who are great mothers. What a challenging but wonderful calling in life. I am grateful for the opportunity I have of being a mom!

Braiden smelling the flower the boys gave me!

My wonderful boys!

Braiden and Cortlynn wishing Grandma Happy Mother's Day!

(I didn't get a picture with the boys and my mother-in-law. Next time we are over, I will get that picture and post it!)

Sew Sew Sew

I love sewing. We are having so much fun in our sewing class once a month. I have almost caught up on everything that I have missed since Gavin was born. Here is the picture of my apron and then I finished my swing bag. I am now using it as my purse. I think it turned out so cute. The other day we had a mystery bag to sew on a Super Sew Saturday. I had to leave early and haven't finished mine, but as soon as I do I will post the picture. I have really been having 'sew' much fun!

Watercolors

We have been trying to find fun and new things for Braiden and I to do during the day. I found my watercolors. I can't believe I didn't think of this before. He loved them. He has painted and painted and painted. He even gets to wear his special project apron. I love that Braiden loves to try new things and the simplest things can make him so happy. I love being able to see things through the eyes of a child.

Trying so hard not to mix colors on the tray!

Braiden is so excited for another project!

Gavin has to get in on the fun as well. I love this little boy and his sweet smile!

Another project complete!

Since I missed a few of our sewing nights with Relief Society, I am trying to catch up on all the projects. I finally finished the aprons we made back in November. I was actually sick that night, so I didn't go and sew. This was a really fun but simple project. It can be used for so many things and I think it turned out adorable! Shannon finds such fun projects. I thought I had the picture uploaded, but I guess not. I will post the picture tomorrow!

Feeding the Ducks

The other day, Analisha and Maddox called to see if we wanted to go and feed the ducks. We were so excited to go. Maddox, Braiden, and Cortlynn had so much fun. They loved seeing the ducks and the fish jump out of the water to get the bread. We had such a good time.

Sewing Fun

For one of our groups in Relief Society, we have a sewing 101 class. I love it! We have made some of the most adorable things. It is so much fun to sew. This is one of the projects I missed while I was out with Gavin. I just finished it. It is a scrapbag. The top is a pin cushion, it has a string you can hook your scissors to and it is also a garbage bag for your scraps. I love it. I think it turned out really cute. Who knew you could make so many cute and adorable things!
