Braiden and Gavin

I have just a few random pictures of the boys. Gavin is starting to move and groove! He can go all over the place by rolling and turning in circles. It is hilarious. He is also starting to scoot and get up on his toes. He will be crawling before we know it. Braiden loves Gavin if I haven't mentioned that before. He wanted to give Gav a horsey ride. Gavin laughed the whole time. The other day we also went swimming in the backyard. Both boys got all decked out in their swim attire. We had a really good afternoon. Braiden had to wear those goggles. I know I post a lot about the boys, but that is what life is all about right now, and it is great:)

(Cooking Fun)

Braiden holding the cookbook.

Trying a lime - I love this face!

Our Pico De Gallo

Braiden putting the final touches on the nachos. They are almost ready to go.

This summer we signed up for the family reading program at the library. Since Braiden can't read on his own yet, they have a program the family can do together. It has been a lot of fun. For one of the options you could check out a cook or craft book and then make something together as a family. We chose a cookbook and JT and Braiden chose the recipe. We made nachos with Pico De Gallo. JT was so excited. He hasn't had Pico De Gallo since his mission. His mouth was watering as he smelled it coming together. Braiden was a great helper. We really enjoyed our meal. It was fun to cook as a family.

My baby is growing up!

I can't believe how fast time flies. It is crazy to think that Gavin (in these pictures) is 5 1/2 months old! He is sitting up by himself:) He still topples over once in a while, but he is moving like a mad man. I love watching my boys learn and grow. It amazes me everyday how special they are. I am so lucky to be a mom.

{Our Trip to the Zoo}

A few weeks ago (I am so behind!) we went to the zoo with the Colletts. It worked out great because it was while Trisha and boys were down. We saw all sorts of animals. Braiden loved seeing the animals and being with his cousins. We got to ride the carousel, ride the train, have a picnic lunch, see monkeys, giraffes, bears, peacocks, elephants and all sorts of other animals. Gavin really enjoyed his first trip to the zoo, he slept for a good majority of the time. We had so much fun. Braidens favorite was the snake. I don't know why, but he had to see a snake. I was grateful it was behind glass:) JT even enjoyed the trip. He especially enjoyed his HUGE bag of kettel corn. I don't like it, so he got to enjoy the whole bag to himself. I know he was so upset about that. I am so glad we could enjoy a fun day at the zoo with family.

Our family at the zoo - we have to document these moments!

Braiden and JT on the carousel. JT felt bad because Braiden got one of only TWO animals that didn't move up and down. Braiden still had fun. He loves the carousel.

The bears were out to play. I thought this was a great picture.

Most of the grandkids (that were there) standing in front of the elephants place. What a bunch of monkeys.

Braiden going APE or gorilla I guess I should say. Look at how big he is!

These are pictures of almost everyone on the train! All aboard!

Matching PJ's

The boys both needed some new summer pj's. Since the weather in June was not as warm as normal, it hasn't really been until this last week that we needed new summer pj's. It is always so much fun when you can find them matching. Lucky for us we found some Pooh bear pajamas. Aren't these pictures of the two boys adorable!?! I love how much Braiden loves Gavin and look at how big Gavin is. My little boys are not so little anymore. How much fun we have. I love them so much:)

Camping up Diamond

This has been a crazy June, not only the weather, but also the month for us. We have packed and unpacked about four times this month alone. We have had so much fun, but are excited to sit home for a little while. This last weekend we went camping up Diamond Fork with my Grandma and Grandpa Roach, Kira, Eric and Scott, Ash and Cortlynn. We had a really good time. It rained at night and then during dinner on Friday, but otherwise the weather was nice. We played cards, went on walks, bike rides, roasted marshmallows, swatted mosquitoes, splashed in puddles, relaxed, ate snacks, ate meals, and ate more snacks. All of these vacations are quickly going to catch up with me if I keep eating like this. I love being with my family. It is so much fun. Braiden loved having Kira, Eric and Cortlynn there. He can't get enough of cousins. We are excited for next years camping trip.

Baseball Summer

Dad is at second right above Braid's head.

This summer we have been able to go and watch my dad play softball at the ballpark. Braiden loves sports and since it is summer, baseball is currently his favorite. Each time we go, we load up the ball, bat and mitt. He always has his hat on and is ready to play. He loves it anytime anyone will pitch to him. He would much rather do that than hit it off of a tee. It amazes me how coordinated he is. I love to watch him play. He can't wait to be able to play, but will have to wait until he is five for tee ball. Until then he can enjoy playing with all of us. These are some pictures of Braiden and Maddox at Dads last season game. They love going and watching Grandpa play. Thanks for a great season Dad:)

Collett Family Reunion

For a little party this summer we went to Austin's family cabin with the whole Collett crew. It was a lot of fun. Luckily it was good weather on Friday because Thursday and Saturday it rained. We were able to ride 4 wheelers, eat lots of food, play games, build soapbox cars, swing, go crawdad fishing, relax, play the Wii, look for deer, eat some more and enjoy time with each other. I am so lucky to have married into such a wonderful family. I am so grateful for their love and friendship. I couldn't ask for a better family to be a part of.

Fishing for crawdads at the reservoir. That was an adventure:)

J.T. helping Braiden play the Wii. That was so much fun.

J.T. and Gavin sitting by the fire. I love making smores!

Braiden and Gus riding and trying to drive the Rhino. How much fun are they(the rhinos)! But Gus and Braiden look so adorable.

We were all able to go for a ride thanks to Austin's family and their Rhinos. It was so much fun. If I had a little extra dough lying around, I might consider purchasing one:) But that won't be happening anytime soon.
