Olympic Fun!

For Family Home Evening this week, we celebrated the Olympics! We are so excited to watch all of the action. We held a few games of our own last night. The first was the Cotton Ball Pick-Up. We each had a big kitchen serving spoon and had to pick up as many cotton balls as we could and put them in our bucket. The person with the most wins. That was Braiden. We then had to race around the family room with a balloon between our legs and see who could get there first. Braiden won again! We had so much fun. There would have been more events and medals at the end, but both boys have been sick at our home. That is a first and hopefully the last. It has been entertaining to say the least. We are so excited to continue watching the Olympics! GO USA!

Our V-day Dinner and Scavenger Hunt

I was so excited to make Valentines Day so much fun for all my boys. We decided to stay home and have a fun dinner. The boys got sick, so it is a good thing we had decided to stay home.I had bought a new tablecloth, glasses and Vday decorations to put down the middle of the table.

JT got to pick the dinner. We of course had steaks! They were really yummy:) We also enjoyed Raspberry Creme soda. It was delicious. After dinner I had made up a scavenger hunt for the boys to find their gifts. It was so much fun. Braiden was really good at helping JT figure out the clues. They found the gifts in the place were they get squeaky clean. You guessed it, the tub.

We then had dessert. Analisha had told me about making chocolate bowls. I decided to try them. They were so fun and yummy. We had sundaes in them. While I was making them, one of my balloons popped while it was setting up. Chocolate went everywhere. It was crazy, but they were so fun!

We had a great Valentines day. I love my boys and am so glad I got to spend time with them. Happy Valentines Day everyone! Even if it is a little late:)

Happy Valentines Day...to me!

I was so excited! On Saturday, JT and the boys set out on a mission. They were going to lay the laminate flooring in the entryway for me! Happy Valentines to me! I was really so excited. We have had the flooring since we moved in, and just haven't taken the time to get it done. I was so happy JT wanted to do it. I don't have finished pictures yet, because the floor board still needs to be put back up, but pictures will come soon. I was so so so excited. Thanks boys! I loved my present:)

My Bathroom

There is finally one room in my home that is finished! I have it decorated how I want it. Unfortunately, it is the bathroom, but I love it. I really like how it turned out. It is an Americana theme and has my favorite color in it, RED:) I love RED. Hopefully more rooms will be finished soon. Here are some pics of the bathroom.

J is for Jazz and Jammies

The other night we decided to have a night about the letter J. That is what we have been learning about this week. It was so much fun. The boy got in their Jammie's and we watched the Utah JAZZ play. We love basketball and we love our JAZZ. We are so glad they won!! It is so fun to learn about all of our letters.

Groundhog Day

This year we decided to do a little project on Groundhog day. We found out that he saw his shadow this year which means six more weeks of winter. The boys and I weren't happy. We are so excited for spring. JT on the other had is thrilled if we get more snow. He wants to go snowmobiling. Braiden and Gavin got a picture of the groundhog with his shadow. We spent a little bit of time coloring these pictures. This was Gavin's first real coloring project. Usually he just eats the crayons, but we thought we would try. He actually colored a little bit on the paper and I am happy to report no crayons got put in his mouth. It was a fun activity, but we really hope SPRING comes soon!
