The Pumpkin Patch

We decided as a family to go to The Red Barn and go for a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch. It was everyone in the Peterson family. We had a good time. As any activity goes, it was lively with three two year old children running around. It was really nice to spend time together as a whole family. I love them so much and was so excited that everyone could come!

J.T., Braiden and me poking our heads through the pumpkins.

Cortlynn, Braiden and Maddox actually being good and posing for a picture!

The Hatfields on the wagon.

Braiden trying to pick up the huge and heavy pumpkin! (At least for him)

Mom and Dad enjoying the time with the family. We actually got Dad in a picture and he seems to be smiling!

Out with the old....In with the new!

Since it has been pretty cold at night the past few weeks, we decided to turn on our furnace. It was ancient. We were hoping the big monster would go out on us and the warranty we have would replace it for us. No such luck. We did have problems with it, but they were able to find a part. Since it would run so inefficiently, we decided to just get a new one! It seems to be working wonderfully. We are really excited about our new addition.

The old monster!

Our new much smaller and more efficient furnace:)

The BIG BIG Boy bed!

We have had both the box springs and top mattress on the floor for Braiden while he was learning not to roll off of the bed. Finally, we felt he was ready to have the frame put up. He thought he was so neat to have a BIG BIG boy bed.

Decorating Sugar Cookies

We thought it would be really fun to get the three cousins together and decorate sugar cookies. Maddox, Analisha, Cortlynn and Ashley all came over to our house to decorate. We had the cookies made and we frosted them while the three kids got to decorate. They had fun and it wasn't as messy as I thought it would be!

Maddox got a little bored and decided to go and play with the trains instead of decorating.

Cortlynn putting the sprinkles on her cookie!

These are of Braiden helping make the cookies a few days before. He did such a good job with the rolling pin.

SMILE and say CHEESE!

The other day, I decided we needed to get our FAMILY pictures taken for the year. We try and get it done every fall because that is my favorite time of year. We needed to get it taken ASAP so that I didn't look any bigger than I already am. I did decide though that I am pregnant, and that is just how I am right now so it needs to be documented. (Looking on the bright side of things.) We always take our camera and tripod up the canyon and see what happens. I really liked the main picture we got. Braiden is SMILING perfectly. It was cold and rainy, but the rain stopped for just the right amount of time. We got a few that will work great for this year!

I still need to crop and fix these up a little, but for the most part I was thrilled with what we got:)

It's a Boy again!

Just a few days after we found out we were having a boy, Jake and Trisha had their new little boy Ben. He is adorable! We haven't been able to go up and see him yet, but we can't wait. All these new babies coming into our family. We are all so blessed. Congratulations Jake, Trisha and Gus! We love you!

It's a ............................BOY!!

We are so excited! For those of you who don't know, I am pregnant and we just found out we are having another BOY! Life is going to get even more exciting at our house. I will be completely outnumbered. It will be OK though! Braiden still thinks he wants a sister. When we ask him what we are going to name his little brother, he replies, "SISTER." For the little boy's sake, that won't happen. We were so excited that our little boy seemed to be happy and healthy. We can't wait until he joins our family. It will be quite the adventure!
